Based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, this client produces breakfast toppers that are made with organic milled flax seed and Omega 3 & 6.

Mmmm. Flax seed.

The challenge was to make this healthy addition appealing without looking like, well, health food. The name “Shakers” was chosen as a reflection of the act of applying the product. The packaging created was colourful and enticing. With flavours such as Berry Blend and Cranberry, the design solution was to pair clean elements with compelling photography that drew people into the product. The breakfast toppers portray large mouth-watering food images.

The client was so happy with the result of the breakfast toppers that we were asked to create their Seasoning topper line which includes: Mexican, Greek, Italian and Thai. These Seasoning toppers have a layered collage approach to the imagery which depicts the culture and dimension to each country. This concept ties in with layering or adding Omega Shakers to your meals.
