who we are

Fang serves in a dual role at Tugboat – as an application developer and Systems Administrator. Fang is a graduate of the Shanghai College of Technology and has 15 years experience as a programmer and systems administrator working with Linux, all Windows Server and Workstation platforms and Microsoft SQLServer and MySQL, and programming in C/C++, Visual Basic, ASP, CGI, HTML, Perl, Python, UNIX Shell.

Fang started his career as a programmer at the Shanghai Brain Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (read into that what you will) and further honed his skills as the system administrator at CITIC Guoan Communications Co., (also in China) where he designed, built and ran the system for their ISP services.

Fang loves music, literature and travel. And also knows a thing or two about soccer, billiards and table-tennis.
