Marcus knows the computer stuff…so you don’t have to.

Toronto-born and Belfast-raised, Marcus has over 10 years professional experience as a web developer, 20 years experience forcing computers to do his bidding, a funny accent and often a full face of hair. He has a broad background in web technologies including, amongst others: PHP, MySQL, Drupal, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, .NET, C#, ASP, SQL Server, Perl and PostgreSQL.

When he isn’t planning and developing web projects, Marcus is thinking about planning and developing web projects. When he isn’t spending time on his computer, he’s spending it on another computer. When he isn’t near an active Internet connection, he’s experiencing withdrawal symptoms tempered only by a (bit) torrent of caffeine.

Marcus is a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast with a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Applications and a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Accounting. He studied more math at school than human rights conventions should allow.

Marcus lives in the very leafy suburbs with his wife, two young sons and two cats – three of which are named after computer scientists. He sometimes sleeps.
