Steve is a highly experienced brand strategy and marketing communications leader with 20+ years of helping organizations build relevance, clarify their story, and drive growth. As Tugboat Group’s Managing Director, he leads cross-disciplinary teams in creating distinctive brands, engaging web experiences, interactive applications, and impactful marketing tools for clients across North America and internationally.

Steve blends strategic insight with creative execution across brand development, digital marketing, content strategy, web design, SaaS development, and brand storytelling. His work spans health, technology, architecture, sustainable products, and nonprofit sectors. Known for calm, pragmatic leadership, he mentors creatives, fosters collaboration across strategy, design, and development, and keeps teams focused on work that is relevant, memorable, and built to perform.

A 25+ year career creating digital experiences for brands both large and small has brought Andrew to Tugboat. He is well versed in bridging the gap between technical and creative concerns, able to speak both languages well. Andrew’s journey began with a self-taught approach, cultivating a deep bed of skills that have evolved with the ever-changing landscape of technology, and this approach serves him well to this day.
